Our Store

The P&C* Concept Store at “The Playce” shopping center on Potsdamer Platz in Berlin is a place where we experiment with new approaches to fashion. Since it opened in 2023, we’ve been working with customers and partners here to test various services and formats related to brands and products, as well as how they’re selected and used.

Our Concept Store is part of our approach to empowering customers to make more informed purchasing decisions—for example, by providing deeper insights into materials, manufacturing, and how to care for clothing in everyday life.

That’s why the store goes beyond the traditional shopping experience: Through events, workshops, and promotions, we create a space to learn, exchange ideas, get creative together, and actively engage with fashion.

We’re also experimenting with new design approaches: We’ve done away with additional wall coverings and flooring, opting instead for minimalist interior design and a lighting concept that combines dimmed LED ambient lighting with targeted spotlights. The broader insights we gather at the Concept Store are incorporated into the further development of our other stores.

Our assortment

At the Concept Store, our customers will find a curated selection of P&C** exclusive brands, international brand partners, and secondhand clothing. A growing portion of our offerings consists of certified products that have been tested according to recognized standards and guidelines set by independent third parties. These products, for example, use materials with specific properties or adhere to specific manufacturing requirements—such as certified cotton meeting the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS); products bearing the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label, which addresses fair working conditions throughout the supply chain and verifies the absence of harmful substances; or items made from recycled materials that meet the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

Through a hangtag attached to our exclusive brand products, our customers receive additional, reliable information beyond the usual details on the care label—such as information about the materials and which standards they meet. We summarize the third-party certifications we recognize in our so-called certification standard. We review this catalog regularly and continuously update it.

Our offering in the Concept Store is complemented by secondhand fashion for women. In collaboration with StudioKôr, a Berlin-based label specializing in curated vintage fashion, we feature a dedicated section with select one-of-a-kind pieces.

Our Services

At our concept store, we offer a variety of experiential formats designed to help customers choose and care for their clothing in everyday life. This includes events where stylists provide personalized advice—for example, on which pieces suit a customer’s personal style, can be mixed and matched in versatile ways, and will provide long-lasting enjoyment.

In our atelier, we alter garments, repair them, or redesign them together with our customers. Our goal is to extend the lifespan of products and tailor them to individual needs. If a piece fits well and is in perfect condition, it’s usually worn more often.

In addition, we regularly host events—including workshops and panel discussions with experts on topics such as quality, materials, care, and how to get the most use out of clothing in everyday life. Every Thursday, our open sewing café invites everyone to get involved, share knowledge, and learn new skills.
