Faces of different people
Our corporate culture

Our success is based on the people who work for us and their passion for fashion. Openness, respect and mutual support characterise the way we work together. In order to attract the best talent, we cultivate a value-orientated working culture. Our corporate values and leadership principles strengthen this culture and promote collaboration in which everyone can flourish and develop.

We also support our employees in developing their individual strengths through mentoring, talent development programmes and further training.

Our speak-up culture encourages all employees to get actively involved, have open conversations and address uncertainties – without fear of negative consequences. Any incidents can be reported via our anonymous whistleblower system. Training courses and workshops are designed to help recognise unconscious prejudices and promote conscious interaction with one another.

Diversity, equal opportunities & inclusion

We see diversity as a strength and are committed to an inclusive working environment. Our DE&I strategy (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) promotes diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion and leaves no room for discrimination.

Everyone should be able to realise their full potential – regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, physical and mental abilities, religion, nationality, ethnicity or social background. We emphasise this by signing the Diversity Charter.

What we are committed to:

  • By 2026, we will build a foundation for diversity by establishing structures, processes, corporate values and leadership principles in order to offer all employees the same opportunities for professional development and participation.

In order to provide all people at P&C with the best possible support and advice in their professional careers, we promote our speak-up culture, break down barriers to equal opportunities and train our employees and managers on DE&I topics.

Human rights in the supply chain

We conduct regular audits at the production sites of our direct suppliers to check compliance with labour law and our human rights and ethical standards. We have been working with the amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) since 2003. In the event of violations, we work together to develop an action plan for continuous improvement and carry out follow-up audits or, if necessary, suspend the business relationship.

Our suppliers and partners can submit potential violations of our ethics and compliance guidelines anonymously via a reporting system (see below).

What we are committed to:

  • We are tightening our audit requirements for the direct suppliers of our exclusive brands and will extend them to lower levels of the supply chain by 2030.

Our Declaration of Human Rights Principles forms the basis for responsible cooperation with our partners worldwide. In our sustainability report, we provide an overview of how we fulfil our responsibility to protect human rights. It contains fundamental principles, potential risks and challenges.

Codes of conduct

Our Codes of Conduct summarize our key rules and behavioral principles. We commit not only ourselves and our employees to fair working conditions and the protection of human rights and the environment, but also our suppliers and partners. We continuously work to communicate our Code of Conduct to all suppliers and partners and to incorporate it into our contracts. Through regular training and audits, we support our suppliers in meeting these requirements and continuously improving their practices.

Reporting channels

We have established a reporting system for our employees, suppliers, and partners. This allows them to inform us of potential violations of our ethics and compliance guidelines – such as bribery, child labor, or discrimination – either by us or by our direct and indirect suppliers. This enables us to investigate reported incidents as quickly as possible, take corrective action, and impose sanctions if necessary.

Further details on the procedure can be found in our procedural rules.
