Our store

The P&C* Concept Store in Berlin’s ‘The Playce’ shopping centre on Potsdamer Platz is a place where we experiment with new approaches to fashion. Since it opened in 2023, we have been working with customers and partners here to trial various services and formats relating to brands and products, as well as how they are selected and used.

Our Concept Store is part of our approach to enabling customers to make more informed purchasing decisions – for example, by providing deeper insights into materials, manufacturing and how to care for clothes in everyday life.

That is why the store goes beyond the traditional shopping experience: through events, workshops and activities, we create a space to learn, exchange ideas, get creative together and engage actively with fashion.

We’re also trying out new approaches to design: we’ve dispensed with additional wall panelling and floor coverings, opting instead for minimalist interior fittings and a lighting concept comprising dimmed LED ambient lighting and targeted spotlights. The overarching insights we gather in the Concept Store are incorporated into the further development of our other stores.

Our asortment

In the Concept Store, our customers will find a curated range of P&C** exclusive brands, international brand partners and second-hand clothing. A growing proportion of the range comprises certified products that have been tested in accordance with recognised standards and specifications by independent third parties. These products, for example, use materials with specific properties or adhere to specific manufacturing requirements – such as certified cotton in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS); products bearing the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label, which addresses fair working conditions throughout the supply chain and verifies the absence of harmful substances; or items made from recycled materials in accordance with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

A hangtag attached to our exclusive brand products provides our customers with additional, reliable information beyond the usual details on the care label – for example, regarding the materials and the standards they meet. We summarise the independent third-party certifications we recognise in our ‘certification catalogue’. We review this regularly and are constantly developing it further.

Our range in the Concept Store is complemented by second-hand fashion for women. In collaboration with StudioKôr, a Berlin-based label specialising in curated vintage fashion, we have a dedicated section featuring selected one-off pieces.

Our services

In our concept store, we offer a range of experiential formats designed to help customers choose and care for their clothes in everyday life. These include events where stylists provide personalised advice – for example, on which items suit a customer’s personal style, can be mixed and matched in a variety of ways, and will be enjoyed for a long time to come.

In our workshop, we alter garments, repair them or redesign them together with our customers. Our aim is to extend the lifespan of products and adapt them to individual needs. If a garment fits well and is in perfect condition, it is usually worn more often.

In addition, we regularly host events – including workshops and panel discussions with experts on topics such as quality, materials, care and how to make the most of clothes in everyday life for as long as possible. Every Thursday, our open sewing café invites you to get involved, share knowledge and learn new skills.
